I’m Briana, a storyteller, strategist, and communications creator based in New York. Born and raised between The Bronx and Long Island to Jamaican parents, I learned early on that stories live everywhere — in language, in culture, in the ways we express ourselves. That curiosity led me into creative writing as a kid and eventually into the world of media and communications.

Today, I bridge the worlds of brand storytelling, media strategy, and cultural narrative work. I craft campaigns, content, and communications that speak with clarity, heart, and cultural insight — often shaped by my fluency in multiple languages and my lived experience across cultures. Growing up in a bilingual household with English and Jamaican patois nurtured my deep love for language, and I later expanded that passion by studying Spanish in Logroño, Spain, participating in a research fellowship in Paris, and dabbling in learning Latin and Japanese along the way.

My work is informed by the intersections of identity, culture, and communication. As a marketer and creative communicator, I’m particularly drawn to projects that explore coming of age, representation, and the Black and Afro-Caribbean experience through authentic narrative frameworks. I blend pop culture, language, and multimedia storytelling to build campaigns and content that feel real and resonate widely.

I’m also the founder of the Likkle Global Film Archive, a digital archive preserving hundreds of films from across the Black diaspora — a project born from my belief that stories from every corner of Black experience deserve to be seen, heard, and remembered.

Whether I’m shaping strategy, writing copy, or producing multimedia content, my goal remains the same: to create space for voices like mine — curious, culturally grounded, and unapologetically expressive
